Long day, long night

Heading down the coast from Brisbane to Sydney got caught in a “strong wind warning” for about 24 hours. Fortunately I was traveling down wind but still uncomfortable. With only a slip of the jib I was surfing at 10 knots. Fair winds and following seas 🙂

Reef

Yesterday as we were heading up the west coast of Huahine we noticed a run of breakers across our path. They were not on our charts (updated 4 months ago.) We called the boats we were transiting with and gave them a heads up. We did wonder if we were making a big deal out of nothing. Apparently not. Today we met another boat that communicated that another cruiser had run up on the UNCHARTED reef. Not good.Fair winds and following seas 🙂
