Been a long time since this has been my view. Malaysia has marinas!Fair winds and following seas:)
The time here in Puteri Harbor Marina has been a mixed bag. On the one hand it has been nice to be able to wash Reboot, head into Singapore for parts, and be able to go out on the evening without having to dinghy back in the.dark. On the other hand it has been debilitatingly hot making it difficult to get things done.

On the other hand it has been debilitatingly hot making it difficult to get things done. Why is it that almost all of the restaurants serve their hot food cold? Yesterday I discovered a great breakfast buffet at the Hotel Jen. Went back this morning. Everything was cold: eggs, sausage, potatoes. It was inedible. Why? Fair winds and following seas 🙂
“Let there be light.” Dawn is always a special time. Fair winds and following seas 🙂
I hope this is finally right!
Was on the back seat of a scooter for the first time in a very long time. Manuel, my new crew came to Reboot today. He still has his scooter so we used it to run errands. It took me quite a while to settle down and feel comfortable. Although there are far more shopping opportunities here in Sydney we went to three stores before we found one with pop rivets in the correct size. I also bought a spool of wire as the per meter cost was quite a bit more. Tomorrow if it is quiet I will climb the mast and put the radar bracket back up. Fair winds and following seas 🙂
Next time I will go for the $2.00 model. Fair winds and following seas 🙂
Sat out in the cockpit for the first time in quite a while. The weather has been terrible. Lots of rain. Even when it is not raining the cockpit has been wet. Or it has been very windy. Tonight it was dry and the wind not too bad. Looking around I realized that even though there are lots of boats here I am the only one in the morning field. There are a couple of guest mooring balls and some choose to anchor out but there is no one here tonight. I have now traveled around Sydney Harbor quite a bit. It is the largest natural harbor in the world. That is part of the problem. It is so big that unless you go well in, even more than I have on land, there is no 360 degree shelter. Everywhere I go there is always some chop. Fair wins and following seas 🙂
What a crazy time. As a temporary ex-pat in Sydney, Australia the locals ask me about President Trump, Russia, Obamagate (the allegation that President Obama had then candidate Trump s phone tapped (as was proven Obama did to a reporter,) allegations of sedition by former President Obama and his supporters etc. Since like them I have to depend on what imho, is a deeply flawed and partisan media, my answer is “who knows, we live in interesting times.” I feel the USA has become the first “banana republic” with a free press. Very weird. Given the focus on contacts with Russians I have stopped visiting “beautiful single Russian women who want to meet men” web sites. I hope this keeps me out of the news.#wiretap #obamagate #MAGA @Potus #resistance #seditionRoger sv Reboot +61 (0)476 768 335
Since I think we are all in the right time zone for this to be the day, unless Ace and Sally are in California, Happy Thanksgiving from Tin Can Inlet, Queensland, Australia.Fair winds and following seas:)
